Realme C3 3 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM, RS 6,999
Realme has introduced its entry-level smartphone Realme C3 in India. The C lineup is the cheapest of all Realme phones, and the company claims that the earlier Realme C1 and Realme C2 smartphones had total sales of 10 million.
It is the first smartphone to be powered by the first MediaTek Helio G70 processor. Other key features include a 20: 9 long aspect ratio, up to 4 GB of RAM, dual rear cameras and more. But can all this make the best smartphone under Rs 8,000? Find out in our review below.

Realme C3 Review: Design and Performance
Realme C3 is made of plastic, but it has some height and the texture on its back makes it quite ugly. But I'm not a fan of the 3D pattern on the back, which just makes the device cheaper. The company offers two identical color options to customers: Blazing Red and Frozen Blue. Both colors look very attractive and I loved the case.

Realme has opted to provide microUSB port to customers on it. This makes the phone look quite old. For comparison, both Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A have been upgraded to new Type-C ports. The phone still has a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is expected on budget phones.

It sports a 6.5-inch HD + display with an aspect ratio of 20: 9. According to me this is the best aspect ratio in which you can watch content, whether it is on Netflix, YouTube or anywhere else. The performance on it performs well indoors. However, when it is very bright outside, if you are reading short texts, you can give yourself a little shadow. In addition to this other devices in this price bracket, this display is quite colorful and sharp.

Realme C3 Review: Performance
Performance is one area where the Realme C3 surprised me. When using the device to make calls, WhatsApp, watching videos, browsing the web and taking some pictures, it performs quite well and shows no signs of stuttering or lagging. I had 24 tabs open inside Chrome, with 7 apps running in the background. However, of these, I found that the device killed 14 tabs and four apps.

Realme C3 Review: Software
Realme has moved away from Oppo's ColorOS skin for Android and has developed an in-house skin that resembles stock Android in some ways. The new UI is much more mature, the menus and panels are cleaner and organized.

Realme C3 Review: Battery
Realme C3 is supported by a 5,000mAh battery, which can easily give you a day's worth of use with light gaming, web browsing, making some calls, scrolling through social media and taking some photos. During my time with the device, I was able to easily get a day and a half with the battery. The device was able to be fully charged from the in-box charger from zero to 100 within three hours.

Realme C3 Review: Cameras
The Realme C3 sports a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 12MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP secondary sensor. It comes with several photography modes such as HDR, Nightscape, Slow-Mo, Portrait Mode and more.
