Yeah I know that boards are coming and you are working super hard to
perform well in boards. With all the pressure of society and family, the
mind almost gets bumped up.
So here are 5 pro tips to cope with pressure.
1.Follow your heart
Ya, it is a very great idea. Now you will be thinking how to follow year
heart? The first and foremost thing I will suggest you that you have to
know what you want to do in your life. Don't think about others or what
your family is telling you. You should have your guts to follow your
dreams. At the end of the day, you will solely be responsible for your
life so don't be what others tell you to.
If you are confused just like me that what you actually want to do in
life then take a coin. Put your top 2 choices of your life on either
heads or tails and toss it. You will know the answer when it will be in
the mid-air. A moment of time will come when you will wish it to be
either heads or tails which will tell you what your heart says.
2.Balance your social life
Balancing your social life is an important thing for teenagers. Learn to
be anti-social at some point of time and you should have an attitude to
say "no" to things. Don't be that "yes" or "nice" guy. If you cannot do
a work for others just say no. You should also sacrifice your time
spent on social media for better results. This doesn't mean leaving it
completely but to give it less time. So prepare a timetable and decide
when to study and when to use social media. Study only 30 minutes per
hour but study with full concentration.
3.Get good sleep
Now, most of you will shout at me but it's true. Getting a good sleep is
as important as bringing good marks in exam. If you will sleep less
than 7~8 hours then your will mind will not be able to concentrate
properly. According to research it is found that a less than average
sleep speeds up your ageing and significantly decreases your
productivity. Remember
Einstein also slept for 10 hours a day.
4.Don't be a bookworm
Most of the students among us thinks that studying means being a book
junkie or a bookworm. No, if you are doing it you are killing the joy of
learning. Focus more on learning the concepts behind and understanding
them rather learning the whole book mindlessly. If you learn something
new, don't just go on memorizing it. Just think about it's practical
applications. It will help you to recall things easily and who knows you
may become a national topper. Just keep faith in yourself.
"Education is not the learning of facts but the training of the mind think."
5.Avoid last day pressure
Most of us usually don't study before and usually prepare for the exam a
night before. It is usually a bad idea. You must have heard about
others doing it but it works only for 1% of the students. So, avoid last
day pressure and prepare before. Also, if you have already prepared but
you feel like that you are missing something just before last hour of
exam then just chill and leave it. Believe everything will be fine
because last hour studies may result in more worse scenarios. It may
happen that you will forget other things. So just chill.
