20 Best comedy Movies of bollywood - Top movie list for Quarantine

This lockdown has been taking forever to end and in such state we're all going crazy over boredom.

Already filled the water bottles and fridge them a hundred times, watered the plants at home day in and day out, even took bath each day (just to kill the time) and still got a hell lot of time to pass, but what to do??

Here is the list of top 20 best bollywood comedy movies that'll make your time worth in this quarantine situation :

Caution: This list isn't of movies you haven't heard of, or seen ever, but a list to make quarantining more jhelable or at least a bit easy. And I've always believed , you can never go wrong with what you already know. Cheers!

1. Hera pheri

Talking of comedy, and not talk about this Paresh Rawal, Sunil shetty and Akshay kumar trio? hell not,
So , this movie( hera pheri ), me and my brothers , i think we would have watched it some 20 to 28 times and let me tell you every time we do, we go ROFL.
Paresh rawal as babu rao , Sunil shetty as Ram , and Akshay kumar as Raju . they are hillarious .
The story, their comic timing their fights , everything is just extremely amusing.
So basically its a series of three films , though all three of these are extremely rib tickling movies but here i'm talking only about the first part . i can talk about the plot here but i really don't want to , I really want you to go and watch it.

2. Andaaz apna apna

OK, so plz don't hate me but , I never saw this movie .Until my freind forced me to, and so I  happen to be watching it, and trust me I laughed till I had tears.
So basically its a story of two guys, Prem (Salman khan) and Amar (Aamir khan) from middle class families, and they happen to be competing over a millionaire daughter named Raveena . Along the way, they run into a gangster called Teja (Paresh rawal) ,who turns their lives upside down.

3. Malamal weekly

With almost a dozen of stars this movie was a hilarious script by Priyadarshan.
The movie revolves around Lilaram, a lottery vendor, he gets to know that a jackpot winning ticket was sold in his store ,and the real hilariousism starts when he finds out that the winner of that jackpot is missing and most likely dead.
clearly one of my most favourite movies. that's why its in the
list though.

4. Chup chup ke

Been a shahid kapoor fan since I saw him for the first time ( in movies of course) From Rajiv mathur in Ishq vishk to Kabir in Kabir singh I have been crushing over him like my property,
This article being a movies oriented and not him ,I'll stick to the topic and let's talk about the movie . Simply in these 14 years of the movie release I haven't heard by a single person of not liking the movie or calling it overrated.
The story basically is that a fisherman (Rajpal yadav as Bandya) saves Jeetu( Shahid kapoor)from committing suicide, only to sell him to a moneylender.
Jeetu is then forced to pose as a man with hearing and speech impairment, resulting in hilarious consequences.

5. Housefull

Caustion: There're gonna be a lot of akshay kumar movies , as you know, the comedy king, the father of 'AE HARAAMI'.( his common dialogue)
Aarush is an unlucky man and carries his bad luck wherever he goes. His quest to find love only makes his life more miserable as he ends up in complicated situations.
6. Garam masala

Truly a Masala movie as the name suggests.
This is the second best comedy movie of Akshay Kumar after Hera Pheri. For this movie akshay got best actor in comedy
Brilliant comic timing of Akshay, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani makes it a must watch movie.
The chemistry between Mac(akshay kumar) - Dipti - Sweety - Puja- Mambo(Paresh rawal) and later Shyam(John ibrahim) creates great confusion and hilarious scenes.
Shyam and Makarand, two photographer friends, like to flirt with women constantly. After a trip abroad, Shyam decides to disrupt Makarand's life when he sees him enjoying the company of three ladies.
It's a Masterpiece.. just Epic!
One of the best comedy flims of the decade & the century.
Everyone nailed their role with perfection.

But Akshay Kumar's comedy, comic timing is beyond phenomenal.

Superb Direction by Priyadarsan.

7. Welcome

"Welcome" is welcoming if you allow yourself to be invited. Don't go watching it with expectations that it will be the cleverest and most sophisticated movie you will see and when it's not, don't restrict yourself from laughing away to glory.

It would take a lot of talent to explain the plot to anyone because it's one of those chaotic slapstick comedies that you just have to check out for yourself, and only watch once.
But in a nutshell, it is about this really decent man (Paresh Rawal tearing it up as the timid doctor) that would like his decent nephew, Rajiv (Akshay Kumar) to get married. Now comes in the hot Katrina Kaif (who cares what her name was?) who, after a medley of hilarious situations, falls in love with Rajiv. There's only one problem with this, her brothers are big shots in the underworld and are not very modest.

8. Bhagam bhag

Fantastic movie. One of the greatest hilarious movie ever made . Kudos to Priyadarshan & his all team members.

So, the story has Champak (Paresh rawal) , the owner of a theatre group, along with Bunty (Bunty) and Babla (Baabla), two of his group members, travel to London to perform a show. They soon find themselves embroiled in a murder they did not commit.\

9. No entry

Despite the movie running for almost 3 hours, I bet, you won't be bored for a second.
This movie is there to be in that evergreen genre.

I was in depression and no entry movie was running on tv and it wholly changed my mood. It was one of the best comedy movies.
Newspaper owner Kishan (Anil Kapoor) has always been faithful to his wife, Kaajal (Lara Dutta), who constantly suspects him of having affairs. Meanwhile, Kishan's married friend Prem (Salman Khan) frequently cheats on his doting wife, Pooja (Esha Deol), without getting caught, incurring the disapproval of Kishan and photographer Sunny (Fardeen Khan). Tired of listening to his moralistic pals, Prem introduces Kishan to Bobby (Bipasha Basu), an attractive prostitute.

10. Golmaal Series:

Golmaal is a series of Indian comedy films directed by Rohit Shetty and produced first by Dhillin Mehta and later by Shetty and Sangeeta Ahir.

Golmaal (1)

Four friends takes refuge in the house of an old blind couple to get away from a loan shark, things get complicated when the old couple mistakes one of them as their grandson plus another's voice as him!
Unaware of the fact that a funny yet dangerous smuggler is trying to retrieve something from the old couple they managed to live in the house carefree while the same time all of them trying to woo their gorgeous neighbour!
One of the paisa Vasool movie of the hindi cinema.
Rohit Shetty after the failure of his debut movie 'Zameen' which was also a good and paisa Vasool movie, tried his luck in comedy and nailed it.
This movie has some memorable characters like Gopal, Madhav, Goonga lucky, Laxman and ofcourse Vasooli bhai played by Mukesh Tiwari.

It is a must watch comedy with a pinch of action( you know Rohit Shetty's style! He likes to see the cars flying in the sky).
