What causes white hair at early age ?
Normally an average person's hair
begins to turn white or gray after the age of 40. Which is normal but
due to the modern and unhealthy lifestyle, pollution, unhealthy diet,
stress and other factors cause young people to face with white/gray hair
problems even at the age of 12.
Scientifically speaking we have Melanin pigment in our body which provides color to our skin, eyes, hair through its Melanocyte cells. The color of our body parts depends on the production of melanocytes.
The reason behind the premature aging are:
1. Genetics = The Genetics affect on the body parts of a person. Genetics affects on the hair growth, baldness, color, thickness, hairline etc. If your parents or family members had faced premature white hair, you have a higher chance to face it. Because the production and lifecycle of melanin mainly depends on Genes.
2. Pollution = Due to lots of Pollution, Dust, Radiation, cold weather and also too much of sun exposure can affect on the health of the hair.
3. Stress = Nowadays most of the teenagers are facing stress and low self esteem. It will directly or indirectly effect on the color of hair. Stressing helps on the production of hydrogen peroxide which is not good for hair.
4. Unhealthy Diet = If you eat lot of processed foods and unhealthy foods, you will lack lots of important minerals like Vitamin B, B12 etc.
